Cycle-R is not only a bicycle shop offering the best value and quality bicycles, but also is a registered charity. Cycle-R does great work for both the community and the environment, recycling donated bicycles as well as provide training, qualifications and work experience to long term unemployed people and youth groups.

Cycle-R has a real community spirit at its heart, and it is because of this that they ran a competition whereby they gave away a free bicycle to one lucky person! The only terms of the competition give-away was that entrants had to write in providing a reason why they deserved the bicycle.

Ian Alexander was the lucky winner, Ian is a volunteer within the community and requested the bicycle to help him with his busy lifestyle.

Well done Ian! Everyone else who applied need not worry, because Cycle R runs this competition every month, a huge advantage not only for the environment by recycling old bikes that would otherwise have been thrown away, but also for the people of Cannock whos mobility and standard of life could benefit by having a bicycle available!
